Practice Day February 4th 2010!

Hi it's Emma here!

Toady i have been finding out about what other people are doing and what they are researching about and here is what they are doing:
. Lauren and Callie are doing about a story about a boy who had an accident on the Wednesday 3rd February at 3.30pm.
.Deanna and Rebecca are doing interviews with about cancer research and they are also seeing if anyone in other pupils' family has ever had any kind of cancer.
.Yasmin and Gemma are writing down who they have interviewed, they are interviewing them about Michelle and her husband, Robert because Michelle is pregnant after her doctor told her she couldn't get pregnant.
.Eleasha and Lia are doing a diary(or blog) about what other people are doing at different times.
.Marissa and Jordan are talking about how dangerous facebook is.
.Sarah and Hope are doing about the snowy weather, they are saying how dangerous it is and how it effects parents and children.
.Helen, Kayley, Remy and Sweeney are doing how people feel when they have disabilities.
.Alex, Lauren and Sian are doing about Alex Reed and katie prices secret relationship.

I have really enjoyed today and i think everyone is having a good time, i also think that it is really intresting finding out things you dont know about.

Hi, it's Kitsa and Anna here! This afternoon we have been recording pieces and putting together our news report. It has been really fun and we have been enjoying it. The best part is getting to act like a real news reporter when you're filming it.

Planning is difficult but it is also important because you need to know what to do. We have used our plan when filming.

Today has been very successful and we would love to take part in the actual news day!

How has the morning gone?

Hi it's Kitsa and Anna again! So far we have started to look at different news stories online and have begun to interview people. Our group has made a website and has based our subject around bullying, particularly cyber-bullying. Other groups have been looking into Christmas plays and dances. The classes have used laptops, cameras, edirols and their brains!

We've really enjoyed today so far because it has been different and lots of fun. Here we are updating the blog! :)

Practice News Day at Rainham School for Girls

Hi we are Anna and Kitsa, this morning we are doing a BBC News Report. Period 1 we got into groups which were: audio, camera and print. After we had gotten into our groups we watched a video about BBC News Day. We planned our stories and discussed what we were going to present. So far we think that the day has been very successful and everyone gets a part to play. We think that the day will be great.
